We’re pleased to be able to offer a whole menu of worship options across our three churches on Sundays.
Churches
St Peter’s has a friendly and inclusive mix of modern and traditional worship for all ages, with Sunday Club for under 14s, and including worship band-led songs alongside organ hymns. Morning services begin at 10am, and are livestreamed on our YouTube channel.
St Mark’s has a more modern and informal culture of conversation and companionship, with a focus on biblical teaching alongside interactive elements like games and discussions. Services begin at 10am, and Sunday Club is usually available for children.
St Swithun’s is a smaller and more traditional church which values the legacy of Christian history, with a fondness for organ hymns and liturgical worship. Services begin at 11am, and fellowship with refreshments is shared beforehand.
St Peter’s also has monthly 7pm services of varying styles, including Praise Nights, Celtic prayer, Taizé, Contemplation, and more. Keep an eye on our What’s On page for details.

Service Styles
Morning Worship is our usual service of fellowship and praise. We focus on God’s word and explore stories from the Bible and their relevance to our lives today, sing hymns and worship songs, and pray for each other and the world.
Holy Communion is a tradition which commemorates Jesus’s last supper before he gave his life for us, share bread and wine to remember his body and blood, celebrating his presence with us, and carrying him into our lives. We used gluten-free bread and de-alcoholised wine because everyone is welcome at Jesus’s table.
Family Worship is intended for all ages to come together in worship, with each part of the service being interactive and accessible to children and adults alike. It may involve games, videos, quizzes, action songs, and dramas, to bring God’s word to life for us.
Relaxed Worship rethinks the way we’ve traditionally done church services to offer something more creative and engaging, and often includes alternative Bible readings, activity stations, and interactive prayers.
