All of our buildings are available for private hire, subject to approval by our Parish leadership, and are suitable for a range of different activities from small groups to concerts and performances. St Peter’s has two spaces to potentially hire. The church itself has a large raised platform at the front, and a seating capacity of over 200 downstairs, with another 100 or more upstairs. The foyer area at the west end of the building can also be used independently for smaller group gatherings, and has flexible seating and access to kitchen, TV, tables, and accessible toilet facilities.
St Mark’s church and hall were both renovated in the mid-2010s, and are regularly used by community groups. The church has flexible seating, with a capacity of 80 people and a kitchenette at the rear. The multi-purpose hall on the west side of the building is a fully private and lockable space, also flexibly seated, with tables available, accessible toilets, and full kitchen. We have a car park with a maximum capacity of a dozen cars, but nearby parking at the Co-op.
St Swithun’s church is a beautiful and traditional space, situated on a quieter street and lending itself to more intimate occasions. The seating is flexible, with a capacity of 80 people, and also has tables and kitchenette available. There is also a small car park at the back of the church (accessed via Glen View) for half a dozen vehicles.
