Coffee Mornings

All three of our churches have monthly coffee mornings for anyone to come along to, chat about life, and have a slice of cake! Occasionally they are used as fundraisers for church projects or charitable initiatives, like Macmillan, but they are always a good time to meet new people and support one another, in a friendly and informal environment. Come and grab a cuppa!

· St Peter’s, the first Tuesday of the month, from 10.30am
· St Mark’s, the second Saturday of the month, from 10.30am
· St Swithun’s, the first Wednesday of the month, from 10am – followed by a communion service

Widows Might

Widows might… talk together… help one another…. go to the cinema/theatre… go out for a meal…. understand everyone’s different experience.

We’re a friendship group for widows, who meet at St Peter’s from 10am-12pm on the second and fourth Thursdays each month. Becoming a widow can be a bewildering and lonely place. Widows Might is a safe space for friendship, care, and mutual support – a place to talk, pray, and offer practical day-to-day assistance wherever possible.
