Weekly Prayer Meetings
Churches that pray together grow together. All three of our churches have open prayer meetings each week for anyone to come and join in with. We pray for our Parish, those within who are struggling, global events, and much more. Please come and join with us.
· St Peter’s, Tuesdays at 11.30am
· St Mark’s, Wednesdays at 10am
· St Swithun’s, Thursdays at 11am
Prayer on Zoom
We have a weekly prayer meeting on Wednesday evenings from 7pm on Zoom, which enables anyone to join from anywhere. Please get in touch with our admins if you’d like the login details.
Bible Study
Join us at St Peter’s on Tuesday mornings from 10am as we take turns leading and exploring the Sunday reading in more detail and depth. No skill or experience needed – everyone is welcome.
Silent Prayer
Some of our church members meet at 8am on the first Sunday of each month for a time of quiet and contemplative prayer.
Service at Spencer Grove
Our Parish team leads an accessible and informal service at the local care home on Springwood Gardens, DE56 1RT, on the fourth Wednesday each month at 2pm.
Service at Coxbench Hall
Each month, on the last Fridays at 2pm, some of our ministry team lead a simple communion service for the residents and families south of Holbrook at Coxbench Hall, Alfreton Road, DE21 5BB.
Silent Prayer at Meadow Court
Gathered in the Residents’ Lounge of Meadow Court, off Bridge Street, DE56 1HE, some of our church members meet to pray silently on the second Sunday of each month, beginning at 5pm – all are welcome.
